Before you report a hazard, please check the nearest location page on our website to make sure the hazard is not already marked.
Guidelines
Please note, the AwaSafe website covers the stretch of river between Mosquito Point and the Cobham Bridge. Hazards below the Cobham bridge (eg around the port or the moles) should be reported to Coast Guard.
Examples of possible hazards include:
- Submerged logs or other debris that have become embedded in the bank or bed of the river.
- Sunken vessels.
- New/temporary sand bars.
- An existing hazard marked incorrectly on one of our maps.
- Anything else you deem to be hazardous to river users that is not already marked on our maps.
